Teachers take a pie in the face for Pi Day!

To celebrate Pi day, Mr. Wiggin - the 8th grade math teacher on the VIP team - hosted not only a pie eating contest, but gave students an opportunity to throw a pie in the face of their teachers. Additionally, the winner of the pie eating contest won the grand prize, throwing a pie in the face of Assistant Principal, Mrs. Faulkner. Congratulations to Mr. Wiggin and the VIP team for a spirited and well-deserved celebration.

An Understanding of this Blog

The purpose of this blog is to engage the Exeter Region Cooperative School District community in a conversation about curriculum, instruction and assessment at the Cooperative Middle School. Additionally, it is my hope that this blog can be an avenue in which CMS administration and faculty are able to showcase examples of best practice and student work. As such, there must be an understanding of the following:

1. This blog will have a world-wide audience. Contributors to the blog must have a google mail (gmail) login and password, however. Click here to learn more about gmail. Anonymous contributions will not be allowed.

2. Contributors are welcome under the following conditions: First, no students names will be included in any blog not originating from the CMS administration. Second, teachers are not to be "singled out". This blog is meant to be more philosophical and "big picture" in nature, not an medium in which individual experiences can be articulated. In short, if you are looking to have a conversation about an individual teacher, contact the school administration directly. Finally, it is asked that all contributors participate in a respectful and appropriate manner.

3. As the administrator of the blog, I reserve the right to "turn it off". While I have neither no immediate intention of, nor foresee a situation in which I will have to do so, it should be noted that this blog is not necessarily intended to last indefinitely. Further, this blog will be archived so that its contents can be reviewed at any time.
